The Galerie Alice Mogabgab is proud to participate in the renovation of the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris through the commission of forty paintings conceived specially for this luxury hotel to the Franco-Belgian artist Léopoldine Roux, represented by the gallery since 2015.
Entitled Living Colors, and supervised by the Franco-Lebanese architect Aline D’Amman and the Galerie Alice Mogabgab, this commission was executed between February and April 2017. The paintings were delivered in May and are now hung in the suites and lounges of the prestigious hotel on the Place de la Concorde awaiting its official reopening on 5 July 2017.
The collection acquired by the Hôtel de Crillon consists of twenty paintings from the series Living Colours, thirteen paintings from the series Colour Suicide and seven paintings from the series Happy Faces.
To celebrate this beautiful creation, the Galerie Alice Mogabgab is pleased to present Colour Escape, an exhibition of paintings by Léopoldine Roux, at Alice’s Office, till 29 July 2017.
